About

Artist Statement
Like Alice in Wonderland, my creations transport people out of this world and into another, where the impossible becomes possible. A piece of art, an image, or a story can transport us into another sense of time and space, letting us forget ourselves and imagine being someone else.

My life is dedicated to affecting the narratives we tell ourselves and each other. I am a multimedia artist who explores stop motion, painting, drawing, social interaction, and music. Art gives us the power to see life through someone else’s eyes, or to transmit emotion and ideas directly. I appreciate art that show profound insight, critical perspectives, or raise valuable questions, while remaining engaging, humorous, and wholehearted.

I paint and draw because it makes me feel alive, present, and connected to myself. It is a direct and intuitive tool for inner exploration. When I create larger projects, such as an animated film or an album, I am very intentional. I wish to bring the audience something: joy, empowerment, a new perspective. This can be done subtly, and it works best if it’s not too obvious.

You will discover in my work a desire to break limitations and expand emotionally and spiritually—beyond the material and into a dreamlike state that allows us to learn from parts of ourselves we may have long forgotten. I desire to shine light into the dark and create space for self-reflection
