In my first semester of illustration, all the way back in end 2019 beginning 2020 – at least it feels like a very long time as corona has changed dimensions and realities (yet some realities remain) I created this piece for a project week. It is a sculpture of the earth screaming, made from an old Globus, clay and acrylic colour. It was a great experience, my teacher pushed me to take some ideas and abstract them as well as develop them, push them further and see what would happen. After creating the sculpture, it needed context and presentation, and as my teacher heard my music she suggested to combine it in a video. I asked my good friend, who is gifted and skilled in the world of film, and after a day of filming and a day or two of co-editing the final piece “Little Big Home” was done. It was an amazing journey, and even though the recording quality is not the best, the power of the live performance carries through a great energy.
